Here on Cape Cod like much of the country, our small businesses have been forced to shut down or shift, where possible, to pick-up or delivery service only in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. I don’t think any of us can quite comprehend the long-term effect this will have on these businesses and our communities as a whole. But we as members of the community have the power to help.
Whether you’re in a position to offer monetary support by way of purchases, or moral support with the tap of the share button, everyone can do their part to make a difference. Be proactive, act with purpose and make a concerted effort to support as many small businesses as you can. If you need some ideas, here are 7 Ways To Support A Small Business.
Working together we can help our local small businesses through these troubling times. Never underestimate the power of sharing a Facebook post. Where you might not be in a position to buy their product or sign up for their membership, one of your friends or one of their friends might be. That’s the power of social connection. So start hitting that share button, write some reviews, order some take-out and talk up your favorite Cape Cod business. They need our support now more than ever. And if you are a small business and in need of support around marketing and social media, do not hesitate to reach out via my acuity online schedule or on Instagram or Facebook. I’m here to help. ~April
